Dua for Entering the House
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَلَجْنَا، وَبِسْمِ اللَّهِ خَرَجْنَا، وَعَلَى اللَّهِ رَبِّنَا تَوَكَّلْنَا
Transliteration:
Bismillahi walajna, wa bismillahi kharajna, wa 'alallahi rabbina tawakkalna.
Translation:
In the name of Allah we enter, and in the name of Allah we leave, and upon Allah, our Lord, we rely.
Dua for Leaving the House
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ، تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللَّهِ، وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ
Transliteration:
Bismillah, tawakkaltu 'alallah, wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah.
Translation:
In the name of Allah, I have placed my trust in Allah, and there is no power or might except with Allah.
Dua for Entering the Market
لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
Transliteration:
La ilaha illallah wahdahu la shareeka lahu, lahul mulku wa lahul hamdu yuhyee wa yumeet, wa huwa 'ala kulli shay'in qadeer.
Translation:
There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner. His is the dominion and His is the praise. He gives life and causes death, and He has power over all things.
Dua for Wearing New Clothes
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي كَسَانِي هَذَا الثَّوْبَ وَرَزَقَنِيهِ مِنْ غَيْرِ حَوْلٍ مِنِّي وَلَا قُوَّةٍ
Transliteration:
Alhamdu lillahilladhi kasani hadha ath-thawba wa razaqanihi min ghayri hawlin minni wa la quwwah.
Translation:
Praise be to Allah who has clothed me with this garment and provided it for me, with no power or strength from myself.
Dua Before Starting Any Task
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
Transliteration:
Bismillah ir-Rahman ir-Raheem.
Translation:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Dua When Looking in Mirror
اللَّهُمَّ كَمَا حَسَّنْتَ خَلْقِي فَحَسِّنْ خُلُقِي
Transliteration:
Allahumma kama hassanta khalqi fa hassin khuluqi.
Translation:
O Allah, just as You made my external form beautiful, make my character beautiful.
